Help on Tanabe Pro 7

I'm currently Running the Tanabe Pro 7 12/10 on my car and I do have a question about dampening.

I'm still new to suspension settings so please bear with me. If I adjust my dampening through the TEAS, what does exactly adjusts? Is it the compression, or the rebound settings? Or is it both?

To make my question clear, let me set an example.

If my settings are FR-10/RR-8

does it mean I'm running

rebound FR-10/RR-8
comp FR-10/RR-8

or may be something like this

rebound FR-10/RR-8
comp FR-7 /RR-5

if not, is it possible for you to explain it to me? Or give me the specs for me to understand?
