cracked wheel without bending?

Took the car to the tire shop to get a leak fixed and the guy called back saying the wheel in question is cracked where one of the spokes goes into the barrel.

its an 18in gramm light, not bent, haven't backed over too many curbs lately

How does something like that happen? :sigh:

anyone got one bronze gram light 57maximum for sale?

Violent impacts don't always bend rims. It could also have been a defect when it was made.

I would presume this is also not something one can get fixed either? its in the face, conveniently underlining the 'RAYS Engineering' logo.

damn you, irony!
