Bilstein PSS9 NOT what I expected. .
Day to day, are they softer or stiffer than the OEM KYB's/OEM springs? Not so much in controlling body roll in a corner, but hitting bumps in pavement, pot holes, etc. That is my concern of my daily driver at the moment...
Overall the PSS9 are probably the best compromise between confort and performance, because my car sure does takes turns better that the stock suspension did, AND it's more confortable, just make sure you install it right from the beginig, won't hurt to get some new top mount (stock, or ralliart are even better)
you drive an Sti? I think the PSS9 is ever more accepted in the subaru comunity (in all honestly, it's sad not so many evo owners run these coilovers, they are the best thing for the street/ocassional spirited driving)
Actually I personally drive a Mini. We used to have a shop 04 STI and have now moved on to the new platform.
It really is a surprising more EVO owners aren't running Bilstien PSS9s...it's a great German damper with quality construction and very good valving for not all that much money.

It's like VDO gauges. Why would someone buy gauges that don't perform nearly as well at a much higher price, when there's a superior, more accurate, precision-made product?
I put PSS9's on my S2000, and they were the 3rd (an least expensive) set of coilovers I've had on it. They ride BETTER than stock, and are the only coilover to improve handling in all types of road conditions (smooth/bumpy/rough/cracked/etc.) FYI most coilovers, and all under $1k HURT the performance on the S2000.
I look forward to getting them on my EVO X.

I painted them red, then painted them black again (looks much better, and it's the RS uniqueness
)It came with the wing, abs brakes, auto climate control, power everything, and regular lancer ugly seats
try a different set of tires maybe, you also need to realise just cause you bought exspensive coilovers doesnt mean its going to handle better then stock.. the car was designed for the stock suspension and was made specifically for it.. everytime i lower a car it seems to lose handeling but just looks better
