rear sqeaking

Hey!

So my rear is squeaking on bumps in the road. I did get a guy to install my white line rear bump steer bushings. I am not sure if he lubed them at all. Could that be the issue??

Now if that is the case, could i just lube them or do u have to take it off and then do it?? What stuff do u recommend?

Thanks!

Ya, they have been known to make noise - poly bushings. Use some teflon tape around the bolt.

Sounds like your guy didn't grease the bushings well enough.

Wd40 is not going to be the best Idea to use, As the hydrocarbon evaporates it only leaves a thin layer of oil that quickly brakes down. As fantastic as Wd40 is your better off with going with a nice teflon lube. They sell it in tubes at most auto parts stores.

Use the grease packet that came with your bushings. If you don't have it I'm sure you can order more from either Whiteline or Energy.

hmmm ok, ya i dont have that stuff from whiteline anymore.

Tougelabs, can u get me a name for this stuff? Home Depot sell it?

Do i have to take it off and lube it and put it back on or can i put it on while its on the car? Its just im getting a gasket changed right after work in my catback so if i can locate this teflon lube stuff, while the car is on the hoist i can probably just apply it...IF you can put it on w/o disassembling it.
