Coilover Questions.

Will make it really quick:

1, can all makes of adjustable top mounts be used on other brands i.e:

TEIN coilover with cusco adjustable top mounts
Cusco coilover with HKS adjustable top mounts
'any' brand coilover with any brand adjustable top mounts etc ?

2, I have read, but not 100% certain that Evo 4, 5 & 6 coilovers will fit a 7... Is this true/any work needed for it to be done?

Thats it,

Thanks in advance

1. It depends....some brands use a different diameter and thread pitch for their shaft and top nut then stock. Bilstein would be one of them, there might be a few more.

2. If i recall there is a difference I think for the rears that makes it not a perfect fit, but it can be made to work somehow. Sorry I cant help more than that.

Not without a lot of work, much easier to put evo7-9 stuff on evo4-6.

The rears will bolt straight in but the fronts are different.
The distance between the fitting where the knuckle mounts to is larger on the evo7-9, and the evo7-9 use M14 bolts while the evo4-6s use M12 bolts.
