Alignment ? after added caster
Alignment ? after added caster
Im a TOTAL neewb im trying to wrap my head around this whole suspension bit. Im coming up with a parts list but I like to understand what I put on my car 1st. So if anyone can break down suspesion wud greatly help.
1. Here is what i knw.
maximum negative front camber to maintain the greatest contact patch on the outside front tire
want rear toe close to zero
here is the race alignment I want to run. Remind you im 100% stock
Front camber: max at -1.9/-1.8
Front toe: 0
Rear camber: -1.4/-1.5 (factory)
Rear toe in: 1/32"
2. What I want and confused abt
I know caster helps handling. I want to get this perrin postivite response system bushing.. It says that it adds 1.5 degrees of caster
http://www.perrinperformance.com/pro...gory=8&model=3
After the install I know I will have to get an alignment.
Question is with the added caster can I still run the race alignment above.?
Or wud the numbers be changed because of the added caster?
If so what numbers wud the alignment need to be to keep with the whole race alignment.
Any help wud be appreciated im so confused thanks

Any quality alignment shop should be able to get close to those numbers with or without the bushing in place. Are you planning on getting any more suspension mods? You'll probably want to get those put in before paying for an alignment. Otherwise you'll have to get another one done and pay again. A real non-lube shop alignment doesn't come cheap.
