Question brakes

evo VIII, my brakes have been squeeking/vibrating since the 3rd day i've had the car... i asked the service manager at the dealer about this he said putting more grease between the shim and the pad will correct and that's the course of action he took... he said it's a common problem with the car... anybody else have this problem?

the evo comes stock with brembo calipers....and pads. semi- and full race brake pad compounds usually are noisier....and yes that annoying squeal at lower speeds is a characteristic of it. at worse...jus tell people ur car's complaining that its going too slow....

Yeah, don't worry about it. Unless you mean something else by using 'vibration' other than making noise.

You will find several other threads on this subject with the search function. Some reference a Technical Service Bulletin from Mitsubishi.
