Exclamation New Wheel For The EVO

Hello all! Moda now has a fitment for the EVO! It is called the Moda R3. It's available in 17X8 with a 40mm offset. It weighs 27.5 pounds (12.50 kilos) and does not require the use of spacers. This would also make a great wheel for a winter tire and wheel package.

They are only produced in the silver finish at this time I know this isn't an EVO, but it gives you an idea. The wheel should hit the Upgrade Garage in a couple of weeks.

It's not?
The wheel is a whopping 7.5lbs heavier per wheel over the stock wheel and still cost $219! I think there are nicer looking and lighter wheels available...and cheaper ones for winter use. I'd rather use the stock wheels for winter anyway and spend a little extra on a nice spring/summer/fall wheel like some SSR's

Too many spokes = hard to clean = not good for winter.

My 2 cents.

OZ Racing is coming out with a new Superturismo (like on the Evo VI) in early 2004. Neal - you guys carry OZ - make sure they order the correct fitment for the Evo!

There is a pic in the new issue of European Car. (No scanner or else I would post it). The reason I mention it is because it looks very similar to this Moda wheel. If you know what the wheels on the Audi Le Mans R8 look like, that's them!
