im trying to get some wheels with tires from some guy i found online, i got him to agree to ship them to me but he will not acept paypal even when i offerd to pay the fees and even give him a little extra for his trubles. does this sound shady? i did talk to him on the phone as well as email. is there anyway to protect me from a scam if i use a cashiers check or something

It sounds like a scam to me. If the seller isn't willing to use a financial means that protects the buyer then I would walk away.

 

I agree with the guy above me, if it doesnt seem right from the get go, chances are that it is a scam.

 

god yes i told him i would do cod he told me ok when i get the money ile ship them, so i told him he gets the cod once they are in the posession of usps then hes like ehh there sold localy sorry, god what a tool! but $1100 and $1250 shipped for 18x9 GM advan rs w/good tires was a little unbelevable
