Just lowered my Evo yesterday with Tein S Tech springs. My impression was "Wow, the handling was awesome and looks very aggressive. Softer ride than stock spring."

Optimal performance is keeping it stock. Learn how it handles in stock trim. If you've met the limits of it, then go further.

Did you had to do a realignment? Any camber kits needed? I had a terrible lowering experience with my previous car....I had to shell out money for realignment, camber kit, and new shocks after a few months of putting my springs in.

I think I'll have to wait atleast a month before I go to alignment shop. It seems that the handling is doing pretty good right now and the ride was softer than stock. The car doesn't pull either to the left or right but just straight. I'll probably find out if it really needs alignment when the tires are worn abnormal. I used to have an ES and lowered it with coil overs for about 1 1/2 yrs and I never went to alignment shop to align it because the tire has a normal wear.
