Replacement tires?

Anybody know any good replacement tires for the evo that are just as good as the advans but cost less. They're 208 dollars on tirerack but i was wondering if anybody was replacing them with anything else.

I have the Yoko ES100's on my car and like them a lot. Superb replacement for only about $100 a tire.

I went with the 245/40ZR17 size, (one size wider and one size smaller sidewall) to help compensate for the difference.

Well worth it.

Second the ES100 call, though in 255/40 size here. They do not have the dry grip of the A046s, but they do have a quieter ride, smoother on the highway, and wet weather behavior is much nicer than the stock Yokos.

Expand on that if you don't mind... I was worried that they might roll too much due to the softer sidewall and their greater width not "squaring up" on the wheel. Just how far off the A046s are they in dry grip?
