When does it happen? Over bumps or just when you crank the wheel left/right?

Hey electricman, you Chris' buddy right? I talked to you at owners day. Anyways, my evo has been doing the same thing. Mine clunks as I am pulling out of my drive(on a hill). Then as I start in first it pops again.

It seems like something is shifting out of place and then shifts back into place when I begin to roll forward.

There is a huge thread on here about the clunking in the front end.

Is it a clunk or a poppin ? Dose it do it more when your turning? And did you replace your strut mount? On the 8s and 9s they have a big problem with the strut mounts.

it sounds more like a clunking noise, it does it more going straight i would say. my struts and top mounts where off a eight with 10,000 miles
