Azul Wheels

Hey guys ...

I am thinking of getting new rims for my EVO 8. I was looking at the Azul Sprint 5 Wheels which come in the 5x114.3 lug pattern but I wanted to know if I would need any spacers with these rims. Also anyone ever purchase Azul wheels?

Nothing wrong with cheap rims but being those are 17x7 and the look of that spoke pattern it doesn't look like it will fit.

Well after looking a the manufactures you listed ... they are very pricy for a wheel between $300 to $700. I would get them if my EVO was a show car but I am looking for wheels to use on a road course or track. I am not willing to dish out $$$$ for wheels that I might damage doing auto-x.

Rotas are not bad rims. I would search and read honest posts about them.

Rota D2 will give you that exact same look as the "Azul" with much better tested results and strength under a company that will back their wheels 100%. Also, one of the many sets wheels I have tried myself.

Also, the ones that you are looking at are only 7" wide...too small. And only come in 40 offset, won't fit. PM'd you

I'm suggesting a wider rim like 8 inch or so - but just my opinion

Are you serious? Do a little research man...

The FN01R-C's are a very light, strong, cheap wheel. Much like the rpf1's. Some like the concavity over the rpf1's rather flat face.

Anyway youre looking at $300 a wheel brand new

Also, dont get any rim widths below 8.5". If you want to be competitive in Auto-x at all, youll need the widest tire possible, which will require a wide rim. 7" just isnt going to cut it.
