Rims and the winter time

Does everyone remove their rims during the winter? Or is it possible to keep ur rims on if you have good tires?

It'll be fine. Try to keep the salt off of them, just like any other rim.

You can keep all-season tires on the same rims year-round. But the stock Yokos are no good in snow or cold rain, so you need to either replace them or have a dedicated set of winter tires.

If you have seasonal tires, it's far easier to have two sets of rims, so the tires remain mounted and balanced on the rims. You just swap wheels twice a year.

For many cars, people just opt for a cheap set of steel wheels for winter tires, since the steel will stand up to winter abuse better. That's not an option for the EVO, where the rims have to fit around the huge Brembo calipers.
