I would like to get some of these but the only size I can find close to our stock wheel is
235/40ZR17 90W B
255/40ZR17 XL 98W B

would either of these fit?

 

Either will work. I've been running the 255/40/17's last summer on my stock wheels.

Many people have run both sizes however.

Keep in mind these start with only about 6-7/32nds tread depth!

 

i run the 255's myself and i love them, i just did an HPDE@VIR and they didn't even really get greasy at all!

Not as long as you go with 40 series instead of 45.

I do get a slight rub on my inner fender towards the front with the wheel fully turned. It must be during bumps. The only reason I know is I can see the marks on the plastic. I'm on swift springs though. It probably would not rub at stock height.

255's do fit nicer on a 17x9" wheel. More of a stretched sidewall.
