I have used the PF97s in the front for my car paired to Axxis ULTs in the rear. My car is completely stock and I run street tires (RE-01Rs) and the pads have performed just fine for me. The season before I used DS2500s and was over heating them and getting a lot of pad transfer. With the PF97s I have not had any transfer issues.

Obviously the driver and the track is going to have a big effect on the effectiveness of the pads. For reference, I have only started to darken my Brembos now that I am on the PF97s. I guess I am not so hard on my brakes. On the other hand, my rotor surface now has small heat cracks gained while using the PF97s.

I changed tire compound at the same time as I changed brake pads so I might be confusing the cause, but it feels like the DS2500s had better bite than the PF97s.
