Robispec springs

There aren't very many threads on the robispec springs so I thought I would post my thoughts about the springs and a few pictures. I bought the springs used from a member on here about a week ago and put them on yesterday. I drove around with them on a little last night and noticed they are a little more bouncy that the stock springs, but it isn't bad at all and can be expected for lowering the car. Today I got to drive through some twisty roads and they make the car handle MUCH better than the stock springs (I am still on the stock struts). The car hasn't been aligned or anything but it feels a lot more stable and feels like it grips harder as I go into and through a turn. The stock springs, on the other hand, made the car feel twitchy and a bit unpredictable. Now that I think of it, I think "predictable" is a really good word to describe how these springs make the car feel. Definitely worth the money.

The only negative is that I would prefer a raked stance like you get from the swift springs, but I can probably deal with it.

I will also note that I had the GTWORX springs on my VIII and although it has been a couple of years, I think these handle at least a little better when paired with the stock struts.

If you live in or around Portland and want to check them out just shoot me a PM.

I have RobiSpec springs too. I know what you're saying about the rake. I wish they had a little added rake, but they're great springs. I've never used GTWROX so I can't compare to them, but compared to my Swifts on my last Evo, it's hard to say without driving them back to back, but I'd say RobiSpec vs Swift is very close.

Just some Kumho tires...I want to say they are the AST model. Not great tires but I don't really drive that fast.

Are you in the market for new tires? Vicksen has a set for a pretty good price.

You should probably powdercoat your wheels gloss black and give them to me.
