Cusco.. the only sway bars??

Any other company makes sway bars besides Cusco for out car. I love cusco, but just want to see a comparison to size and price. Only have found Cusco, I have front and rear , but want to see if anything else is out there.

Progress has a rear bar (3 position adjustable) and Works Rally has some in the works, but I don't know of any others at this time...

Details please!

I'm primarily interested in the front, since that's all I can change and stay in A Stock for autocross, but I'm sure others would like some options for the rear too...

John - if you ask me, don't change your front A/R bar for auto-x. From my observations, the front and rear of the stock Evo are perfectly matched in size and truly provide the basis of nearly non-existant understeer. For road course, the story is a little different.

If you will be staying AS next season, the best upgrades you can possibly do are getting more agressive shocks and may be exhaust and air filter.

Kansai : Front 100%, 120%, 135% Rear 100% 155% 196% 224% 25MM price $550 a set + shipping. JSpeed 25MM 6 step adjustments in stiffness no mention of % cost $485 + shipping.

I'm not sure that a bigger front bar is the answer either. The adjustable Cusco bracket I put on certainly doesn't seem to have done much for me. But other than shocks, it's the only other significant stock-legal mod I have left to try. And it would be a whole lot cheaper than a set of custom DA Konis...

Old Japanese tuner guy always told me to start with rubber, then shocks and springs, then bars. I always try to stick to that.

Yes, that is what I am trying to say as well. Front-only A/R upgrade, for the Evo, is not worth the hassle I think. As for the Koni's, they are not cheap for sure. I think you may be able to find another set from a cheaper source. I believe the best bang for the buck would the shock upgrade, but if you want to stay stock of course.

Actually Grassroots magazine had a test performed with the help of BimmerHaus using their 330Ci and different shocks. Time difference was serious with more agressive shocks. Maily because the turn-in is more precise.

However, one thing will take time to get used to will be the overall steering. The Evo's steering is very quick, combined with the stiffer shock valving, you will have a significantly increased response; for the good or bad of it

I believe in that as well. To add to it, start with the rear bar before the front.
