Nitto nt-05
cant tell if its the camera angle, but doesnt it look like slightly uneven wear on each side?
just talked to seller, only 700 miles on them. what you think i should offer?

Have not driven them in wet conditions, but they were awesome in the dry on track. Tenacious grip, good breakaway characteristics (I was able to power oversteer with ease), and they will definitely talk to you when you push them. The cons would be how quick they wear combined with the shallow tread depth equals needing new tires sooner. My RE-01s lasted a LOT longer...
Just finished a HPDE on NT-05's and I liked them. We did run a rain session Sunday morning and they did well. My instructor was driving a VW GTi with start-specs and yes they may indeed have a little more wet grip, but are no better dry, maybe not as good.
Dry traction up to breakaway was very close, but if you pushed into a slide, the NT-05 seemed to stick better and was very drivable past the limit. VERY predictable for a track noob like me when I hit a braking point late and got out of shape in a corner, gave me a lot of confidence.

well i could not wait...........I threw them on. First impressions are these tires are very very sticky in the dry. Has many attributes that almost feel like a R-comp.
I had a chance to drive them in the rain as well..............now here is were it gets a little hairy. They are for sure not rain tires. You can drive them in the rain but i do not recommend any crazy driving during the rain.
I will post pics soon.

The Invo is great in the dry, and amazing in the wet. It's quiet and comfortable. I've used it in temps from 95 down to well below freezing, I've only taken them off when it snows! I've taken them out on a few trackdays as well, and yeah they aren't grip masters, but I'm not a expert driver in a competition. I've been using them for about 2 years now and will easily get another 6 months out of them.
If I had the choice, I would get a set of wheels w/NT05's for track events and Invo's on my Works for the daily drive, it does exactly what Nitto advertises.
