Bc Racing Coilover Input

Ok so i did search and i only found a few things, mainly what i was interested in is your guys (who actually have them) opinion. I have pretty much made up my mind i'm about 80% sure this is what i will end up with. However if you guys have any input to nock me up to 100% or maybe even farther from 80 id like to know what its is. I like the idea of a comfortable street coil over that can do well on the track at the same time. My usage will consist of daily driving and occasional PCA or Auto-x. This post is just asking you guys that have them to give me feedback and negative or wish it had, or any amazing feathers id really like to know thanks.

Best street CO I have ridden on. Pricing is great for what you get. They lasted me over 60k and I replaced the shock cartridges for $380 and they are new again.

Very Pleased

+1 for Josh at Import Image. He always has them in stock for what I have seen. I might be picking up a set from him. I have seen them first hand at his shop. They look nice. I am just tryin to find out what spring rate I should go with. You can get any spring rate from him for them BC's.

I've had my BC BR coilovers on my car for almost 2 yrs now...no complaints at all...work great for autox & daily driving...I haven't messed with the dampening as much as I could but the stiffest setting works great for autox & I put them to the softest setting for daily driving & they are really not that much rougher of a ride then stock shocks...To be honest I really don't think you can beat this price wise, adjustability & performance of them...

For the money they are pretty good. I had custom springs rates and I think that helped alot (They all come wrong from most of the popular coilover makers).

I had some on my SRT4 as well. I've had (on various different cars as well), Tein SS/Flex, Buddy Club P1, JICMagic. I like these the best so far but this is the first time I asked for customer spring rates.

I will be upgrading next year or the year after. Probably go with either H&R Cup coilovers or Bilstein PSS9's.

I went 10k front 12k rear. most coilovers have stiffer front springs by default but on the evo it seems the general consensus is to have the rear stiffer then the front....what spring rates depends on your intentions for the car and what you can live with. I wanted stiffer springs with the sacrifice being a slightly bumpier ride on the street. I can live with it.

Many, not all evo applications (so that's not quite apples to apples) but the BC's are very very street friendly and that's where my car spends its time

Heck they lasted me 60k on the first set of shocks on these horrible NNJ/NEPA roads before they started to get noisy. That's def something I can live with. Hell my stock shocks were shot in <30k

-Tein SS
-Tein Flex
-Apexi N1's
-Apex (Not Apexi) a European Co.
-Meagan Street
-Megan Track
-MR Suspension with springs
-Stock evo suspension with numerous springs

I've said it before I could not even begin to match whit's with you in the suspension department my man I respect your knowledge and what you bring to the community. A lot of guys winning races with you stuff man this is just my .02 for my street car.

If my car was a track beast I would def explore other options.

No worries, I totally understand where you're coming from! I do think BC's are better than many of the options you listed....it's not what I personally would do but they are an appealing option for many people.

I really really wish the Bilstein HD struts were more readily available. They are awesome with our springs or Swifts....great handling, great ride quality, simple, durable, etc. Just an awesome set-up that's fast, fun, and easy to drive. But they're just about always out of stock. We're going to try to buy up some used MR Bilsteins and revalve them to our own specs (better performing than Bilstein HD, yet still very comfortable) but we haven't begun that process yet. There are a lot of people that have gone from Megans and similar coilovers to this set-up and NOT looked back.
