Disc brake weight

Hi, I just bought a set of 4 EVO 8-9 disc brake to swap on my DSM.
I just want to know if it's normal that the disc are verry heavy?

(front disc weight arround 10-12kg each)

My disc was bought in ebay, the saler is : brakelabs. I know they are not excellent, but It's just to put them on my car for the rest of the season, with HP + pads in front.

by the way, I have a set of Psi-Quiet front pads that I will not using, did they have a good value?

thanks for helping.

Yes they are rather heavy due to their large diameter. If you want to lighten them, get 2pc
