I've installed WL RCA kit, as of now 3k miles with them - pretty happy so far.

RCA = roll center adjuster

also known as the ball joint extender thing.

check them, tie rods, endlinks, etc.

Use a pry bar in between the control arm and knuckle to check for ball joint play. Pry up with it, then use the wheel to pry it down. You'll most likely get movement that way if the ball joint is in fact bad.

Do the same to check the sway bar end links, just at different points. To check tie rods, grab the wheel at 8 and 3 and try to shake it back and forth. You can also test the wheel bearings for play by placing your hands and 12 and 6.

Hope that helps. My money is on ball joints or end links being bad. More likely the end links.

i got the same problem on my left front passenger. i replaced the front endlinks and it worked a little bit but the noise is still there but not as bad. i'm going to switch the front struts and see if the noise continues on the drivers side. i checked mine for wheel bearing and tie rod problems but they seem fine. i think mine might be a strut problem.

Question for you, the strut top you are referring to, is it the stock strut hat? is so how much did you pay for it?
