Strut bars...SEARCHED

is there any advantage of changing the factory front strut bar or adding one to the rear? Ive found some cheap ones on ebay, do any of them perform better? i dont see how they could. Thanks

Some are lighter for weight saving... some from stronger materials which flex less and give added rigidity... there are benefits

Some has the brake master cylinder brace built in. I like the Carbing one for that reason.

^ GT SPEC is a great product... I use it on my autox car... little heavier then the stock but extremely strong and looks good too... great choice

I added an eBay rear strut tower brace on my car and the effects of it and the RS trunk bar were noticeable with the car at the limit during autocross, but completely undetectable on the street.

I would think you would not want to install a rear one unless you are road coursing or autocrossing? im sure its not hard to remove and put back on

Prevents the master cyclinder from moving under hard brake, allowing a better more direct brake feel...at least thats the marketing scheme.

Carbing is effing expensive. Seems like overkill to me.

It braces the brake master cylinder so it doesn't move when applying the brakes. It helps the "feel" of the brakes but I don't think it offers much benefit beyond that.

You have to drive the car pretty hard to flex the chassis to make full use of the brace. Waste of money, no matter how cheap, if used on the streets.

Yup, works very well on Subarus since their firewalls are known to flex, but I don't think its needed on the Evo.
