Is anyone running these tires? How do they compare to the Z1 Star Specs or RE-11s?

It seems hard to believe that anything with a treadwear rating of 340 could be reviewed higher than either the Star Specs or the RE-11s.

Not as grippy as the Z1 or RE-11 as they are in a perf class below them. However, they are just as good as the Michelin PS2. Really can't beat the Z1's/RE-11's in dry and steering response these days.

^^ And judging by price it's easy to pick a winner!

I love my Z1's grip on the track! I actually went with 245/45-17 mounted on the stockers and have had no rubbing issues even though they're slightly taller than stock. And yes, I got them from TireRack.

I have them and I do like them a lot, havent gotten to use them in snow yet though. Theyre a relatively soft tire. I have to run about 38psi per tire to avoid the car dipping in turns.

The DW's shouldn't be used in the snow...do you have the ExtremeContact DWS's and not the DW

One advantage that DW has even against the best of them is the head on stopping power.

The acceleration side, meh, its good, but when you hit the brakes, it brings you to a stop pretty fast

Conti is really stepping their technology up, they are a good tire as far as I'm concerned.
