TRE rear diff is mandatory. I'd go with the aggressive alignment, 3.5-4 deg up front, zero toe. rear camber/toe to balance. If you think you need to run toe out in the rear make the rear stiffer.

If I run 3.5-4 degrees of camber up front with out any toe out I'm going to lose my steering feedback. With 3.5" of camber I'm gong to need 1/8" toe out. Otherwise it's going to steer like a shopping kart.

That TRE rear diff service sounds AMAZING. :O I've spoken with Jon about the gear box when I rebuild mine last year, very knowledgeable guy! I'll see if I can fit it into the budget...depends on what happens with the coilovers first to be honest.

THANKS!

I was planning on going to the 7/7 event, but if you are going to the 6/30 event I'll try and make that one too. Depends on how many Pacific Raceway events I do this month. I just noticed they raised their prices already this year. The demand to do PGP lapping days must be getting bigger and bigger.

For those helping with the set-up, the only rule is DOT tires.

I think the 7/7 event may be a better choice since Scott can't make the 6/30 event. Not to mention it gives me more time to work on getting all the parts on and setup.

Called TRE...no response.

keeping heat out of the front tires > steering feel.

rear diff > coilovers.

You need one of these to fine tune your tire pressures and alignment. With out it your just guessing.

TOUCHE'

great point about keeping the heat out of the fronts. I completely missed that point.

I'll keep calling Jon

I do need a tire probe... I also need to be able to make adjustments at the track

Call Jon early in the AM (like 9 EDT), or send him an e-mail. A combination of those two seems to work best.

what's wrong with you! it will run 30+ if you lug the car around 4k.... out the top end it runs 24-25psi. It has a ported turbine housing and the wastegate preload is turned up. It makes plenty of power and the response time is great. If you watch the video of the track you'll see how much time the throttle is actually used and where its used.

UPDATE: The gentleman selling the super low mileage minty fresh Skunk2 coilovers informed me tonight that they are mine!

Sold the gate and the turbo! I'm going to spring for the TRE diff if I can get a hold of Jon.

I'm super stoked!

He tell you the springrates? I have been trying to get ahold of Jon for sometime. Definately a hard person to contact. Would love to ride in somebodies car that has one though as it sounds quite worthwhile.

Btw how the hell you weight 2900? Mine was 3220 or something at G2 with half tank of gas and I have some pretty damn lightweight parts.

Drop the exhaust past the downpipe, lightweight o2 housing, remove passenger seat, rear seats, mats, rear carpet, carbon trunk no wing and springs, spare tire and jack, removed front and rear bumper beams, odyssey battery, removed recirc setup. remove EGR, remove charcoal canister, clean out glove box/center console, remove AC, remove additional brackets on engine that aren't required, remove unnecessary fasteners, go back to the stock intercooler (much lighter), lighter FMM, coilovers will shed weight too...

you could remove the rear wiper, remove the ABS, get a lighter driver seat, remove the speakers, carbon doors it goes on and on. STM is really king of weight reduction. Check our Markymark's Evo... I think it weighs just under 2600 pounds.

run 1/4 tank of fuel.

when I go drag racing I take the rear ARB off.

Good website that shows the model weight differences. I wish I had an aluminum roof!

Here is a pic of the coilovers.... I'm asking the seller what the rates are.
