Question for Neal

Neal,
I want to get some new tires to replace the P-Zeros I have on my EVO right now. Are there any tires aside from R-compounds which would perform better than the stock tire? I'm willing to live with a low tread wear rating, low as 100-120. I will run my A-032R tires on the street but even a die-hard like myself feel they are too noisy. Your opinion is much appreciated.

The P-Zero Nero is a great tire to have, however, others like the Michelin Pilot, and crowd favorite, Bridgestone S-03 Pole Position are better tires. Nothing will provide you with the dry weather grip and steering response of an Advan, but the above tires are the next best thing

Neal,
Thanks for your input. The Nero is a good tire, just not the caliber of the stock Advan's. I'll be returning to the stock tires after these wear out. When are you expecting the A048?

The A048 is for race appliations only. Yokohama is only bringing the tires for PCA first. 3 sizes. Then they will trickle in from there.
