Brake rotor question

I'm noticing quite a bit of lip on the outside of my rotors. Should I be concerned with this if I measure them and they are still above minimum levels, or is this normal?

yes its normal, and yes as long as your above minimum thickness your okay. if you replace your pads you should also get the rotors re-surfaced.

and yes the answer to this quiestion could have been had much faster by doing 10 seconds of searching on your own either here or in Google.

I did a fair bit of looking through here, and even googled around a bit. Couldn't find anything about the lip, lots of opinions on whether you should/shouldn't resurface. Just wanted to check as I don't remember noticing this on any other car I've had, at least not nearly as bad.

Thanks for the help.
