Fortune Auto coilovers keep clunking

So I am getting a loud clunking noise in the front of my car whenever the front coilovers seem to compress. I thought these were supposed to be one of the quieter setups around but I guess not. Is anyone else having this issue?

How many miles do you have on them?

Could be that the springs aren't seated correctly....creating a poping or clunking sound over bumps when they are compressed. Could also be bad spherical joints.

Give me a call when you get a chance.
The coilovers should not be clunking. 3 things off the top of my head are that your preload is not set correctly, The locking collars came loose or somehow the spring gasket is damaged.

Or something else on your car is making the noise.

You have to remember a coilover setup has many adjustable parts. The more adjustable parts the more chances for noise. We just have to isolate the noise

 for the service. Gotta love when vendors care about how they're perceived. Leads to better service and products

Sorry for not updating this thread. It turned out I just had to tighten up the spring for it to properly seat and now it is perfect. I have about 11k miles on the coilovers with six autox events and they haven't made a single noise. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for an entry level coilover.

Make sure your spring preload is snug to the point where you can spin the spring but can't move it up and down. It sounds like you are adjusting ride height to get rid of the noise but will not have an affect. I would call or email fortune auto directly and they will work with you. I bug Terry all the time and he is more than willing to sort out any issues you may be having.
