need some rotor advise

I have a evo 9 and I am looking for some good dd brake rotors. I need something that is really good for the streets. I am willing to spend up to 300 on the Front rotors. Looking for the front rotors only.

if you up the price to 600, composite rotors from girodisc (i've had last 3years) are awesome. see if they are running any specials. otherwise, they should have cast iron for about the money you stated.

DBA 4000 Series or RacingBrake slotted are both great for that price range!

SEARCH! This has been covered soooo many times.

If you're just running on the street, any reputable 1-piece setup is fine. You can get something slotted and directionally veined if you really want something nice.

Cheapest - check out KNSBrakes.com and get their Centric rotors. I tracked these last year and they held up fine so they'll be just fine on the street. About $125 shipped for the front is the cheapest you'll find probably. http://www.knsbrakes.com/carSeriesDe...Single%20Rotor

Girodisc has their 'Bailout Special' where you can get front & rear blanks for $200. They have some nicer 1-piece directionally veined & slotted ones and of course their lighter weight 2-piece setups: http://www.girodisc.com/catalog/inde...Path=29_62_100

I'm personally not a fan of Performance Friction or DBA. Just my .02
