Hey guys, just bought a 06 ix, 49xxx miles on it completely stock. I heard the sound when I got it, it sounds like a loose driver side strut, it only makes noise when i turn right, every other aspect of driving the car is fine, turns, and drives perfectly, I noticed that the rubber housings on top are a little cracked, but nothing bad. has anybody experienced anything like this?

 

I have heard of top mounts failing. Will do that. Take strut off and check piston on it. If there is cracking in the rubber. I'd get a new top mount. But I would not be surprised if the strut was starting to fail. Those are also the sounds of a going strut.
