Alignment today.

I'm at 5k miles. The existing alignment wasn't terrible except that I had a total of 0.7 degrees positive rear cross toe. Possibly explains why the rear end felt so damn nervous.

The other interesting thing: I requested -1 degree of camber each side, front and rear. No problems attaining that on the rear, but the front would only go to 0.6 and 0.7 on the front, even with the OEM adjusters at -2. In fact that was how the car was already setup. They had to fit eccentric bolts to get me to -1. I even went out onto the shop floor and inspected it myself just to make sure they weren't smoking crack.

Anyway, I'm now at 0 degrees toe front and rear, and -1 degrees camber at each corner. The steering effort is perceptibly reduced, and the car isn't tramlining as much. This could somewhat be accounted for by the tire selection of course.
