Guys I am a good friend of Joes (shhh sleeping) and just to let everyone know, Dunlop did come to the conclusion that it was a bad tire. They actually sent him a check for a new tire and a new Advan and a apaology letter. BIG THUMBS UP GOES TO THEM!

He will be running there tires in both Auto-X and the Real Time Attack series!

See everyone at the track!

Hey guys... yeah sorry i havent been on in a while to update. Dunlop investigated and covered all damages to the car, rim and replaced the tire. They were extremely fast and helpful through the process. I have confidence in there tires so as Kenny said above I will continue to run their tires

Some people are so confident that a blow out couldn't be the result of a faulty tire...

glad everything worked out. I have Dunlop Star Specs and hope that they are not faulty lol

Wow talk about great customer service, most cie would have tried to escape by any way! Some others like them are ready to make the 'extra mile' to keep their name. Props to Dunlop. Glad I bought those again. 265/40/17 FTW.
