LOL you will need some ****y pads to stop the squeal

make sure everything is clean dust build up can make it worse, also try buying brake shims + racing brake anti squeal

Need to do more than a couple hard stops. Need to do a full bed-in.

Hawks (HPS or HP+) are not good pads for the Evo. Auto store specials are not either.

My recommendation is to get a proper set of pads. My sticky here is a good place to start researching.

Buy a set of magic pads for the rear. They will have a little less bite than OEM but are known for being quiet. That plus the rear brakes don't do much anyway. If you still have noise with them, you are doing something wrong.

Are ur pads high temp?
Usually higher the temp the louder the squeak
Im on racing brake pads. Works great
