Hey Nicolas

He was just noting that if a 10mm spacer is needed that makes your +22 offset a +12 (22mm wheel minus 10mm spacer = +12). The +12 would really push the wheel outboard & make fitment a bit tough up front

According to the calculator is +3,3mm away from suspension and the offset clears the brembos. I am looking to avoid any fender job, so there is no point for me to use a spacer.

Take a look at this thread. Looks like a spacer is needed on these RPF1's. There is only 1 RPF1 that i know of that will fit w/out a spacer and those are the 17x9.5 +18's

See this thread here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...17x9-22-a.html

Looks like with a 5mm it clears the brembos. I have to consider now if i will go with a spacer or sell the rims. Thanks guys for the help. Did not expect that installing rims would require a Phd in rocket science. loool

Those are some good looking wheels. Spacers are totally Ok, especially if its only a 5 or 10mm

Also the question is do you have coilovers because you'll need to camber them a bit in the front and rear for that aggressive of an offset. Rpf1 are sexy but are a pain to fit the flat faced ones. I had the 17x8.5 +30 and needed nothing but the spokes have a different curve

Yeah, The 8.5's have that convex face, but they look real nice on your EvO

What tire spec, please?

Pretty sure those wheels will need the 10mm spacer which means the wheel studs have to be changed

(Those Kics are just 3mm)

You will need spacers that are hub centric

They sell 3mm, 5mm, 8mm and 10mm. If click on the 3mm area shows the rest of the options. Should it be hub centric? I believe that the bolts hold the wheel not the hub. I have to check on that one too!!!

Yes, for sure, Hub Centric. You need the wheel to ride & center itself on the hub vs the studs. The studs are there for the clamp load

I recommend extended studs for the front and a 10mm hubcentric spacer. Like he said the lugsare to hold the wheel not to let it sit and ride on the studs.
