What power level are you at? I run Goodyear Eagle F1 DS-G3 as my street tire in a 265/35R18 on 18x9 rims. Good dry grip, very good wet grip, but mediocre for track use (i.e.20 minute road racing sessions) as they get greasy within the first 6-8 minutes. At power levels up to ~420whp it's a good tire and has worn very well (20K so far with plenty of tread left). However at higher power levels it's starting to show its limits. Personally I will probably look to go with Dunlop Star Specs as my next DD tire.

-Quiet on Highway
-Good in wet/dry weather
-Doesn't wear down to quick
-Rides really well

My car will be used for some track use. (Drag) Highway use (not on a daily. weekend warrior or something close to it.)

I have a few tires in mind but Im still doing some research on them.

Nitto NT05
Nitto 555 Extreme Performance
Hankook Ventus HRII H405

Right now Im on General Exclaim UHPs.

Any input would be beneficial. If you experienced with them or have knowledge with them.

Thanks,
TK
Quietest tire I've ever driven on.
Excellent traction wet or dry.
It will be my next tire again, Had them on my last car, Audi S4 did 15k good miles always aggressively driven.

I just got some Continental ExtremeContact DWS and I love'em! Awesome wet weather traction, especially in snow and they're supposed to last up to 50,000 miles. I'm not sure how well they'll handle on the track but it sounds like you're like me and you won't be doing a lot of racing anyway so that's not a huge deal. They're also cheaper than most of the other tires out there

I plan to run the Star Spec Z1s as well this spring. Great in dry and wet. Other than weight, I never heard one complaint. Anything is better than my KDWs though.

I'd go with the Hankooks, great bang for your buck all around. Their customer service is pretty good as well.

I decided to check out these continental tires BUT they are about the same price as the Nitto Invos. Tread life rating is crazy. 540AA

I just put a set of Hankook V12's on my car today. I am going back to get something else tomorrow. These have got to be the worst tires I have ever driven on. Super soft side wall car feels floaty....
