Your Evo will definitely ride smoother, but will not handle the same. I have not tried them in the snow yet, but so far so good. Check out tire rack for more specifics.

I bought these for my evo and am very pleased. We don't get much snow, but they do perform better in the cold then the stock tires. The ride is smoother. In the cold, I can corner, brake, and accelerate better with these tires than the stock. Also, I'm no longer putting little pits all over my advans. Man those tires get hard when it's cold.
