i agree with rdwngs...

the integrity of the wheel was never jeopardized ... was not as if the wheel was cracked and the damage didn't show that much material missing to begin with. This was more a cosmetic repair than anything.

Bingo! All the damage was cosmetic. There's some sort of test they ran on it prior to taking on the job. The wheel is good as new.

I see. I asked due to the fact the wheel is cast and extra material had to be welded in... I wasn't sure how it would stand up structurally or if there'd be a balance difference in the wheel spokes etc.

But if it's just cosmetic it's cool.
