So you mean you modified the the wheel wells to give you that extra 7mm? Don't quite understand how you have +22 offset with a +15 offset wheel? Please explain... Do you track the car with the +15 and do you have any pics? The one reason I don't want the +15 is partially the tire stretching and the rubbing....
I recently purchased a set of 18x9.5 +15 RPF1 wheels that I will be fitting soon with either the 275 NT01s I currently have or some 255/35/18 Hoosier A6s (that run as wide as the 275 but have a smaller overall diameter). I'll have to pull (hammer) out the fenders in the rear more to clear them. I've already pulled the rear fenders about 1/4". It's going to take another 1/4" to clear with the +15 offset.
Also, something to realize, it will depend on how aggressively you drive the car. On the street, I never get rubbing. Auto-X however with the R-comps, I rub in the rear and have caught the front fender twice. I'm also running very stiff suspension and the car is fairly light at 2950 pounds. A heavier, softer sprung car would have even more issues with rubbing.
The +22 puts the wheels out wider then the fenders too. Past flush, not the best look IMO. But Up front, the wider track helps. This is why I would go +38 and a spacer, so you can keep the rear in check and within the fenders and then the front will be more aggressive.

Thanks, I think im gonna order a set of nt03's in a 40 offset with a 255/35 tire setup. I've been back and forth between these and rpf1's. There both a nice choice but since I can't get the rpf1's in sbc with a 38 offset i'm gonna get the nt03...

From what I recall, Robispec said the NT03 is a stiffer wheel as well and is better suited for road racing anyway, if that's the sort of thing you are into. The RFP1s flex enough under heavy high speed cornering that if you run low caliper clearance (like <2mm???) to keep the spacer small, the wheel can flex enough to contact the caliper.

I ordered the NT03's on a 18x9.5 +40 from Gruppe-s. They gave me a killer deal with Hankook V12's 255/35 mounted and balanced. I also ordered Ichiba hubcentric 25mm spacers on ebay. As far as the RPF1's you can find more info on the Agressive Wheel/Tire Fitment thread but I think you need a 20mm.

i run 17x9.5 +38 all around. i have seen the +15 side by side with my wheels and for some reason (design of the rpf1 wheels) they look almost identical. as with most other wheels, the offset makes a huge difference in looks, with the rpf1s, its barely noticeable, and I mean BARELY.
i like having the same offset all around so I can rotate them easily which is nice when you run semi-aggressive camber. i have the ichiba bolt on spacers with extended studs and a hubcentric ring. 20mm spacer up front is required, nothing in the rear except a roll of the fender.
the spacer in the front helps widen the front track and thus helps the car rotate, noticeable difference, handles great.
im lowered on crap tein s tech springs until I can afford coils, and run a 265 Z1 tire, absolutely no rub in the rear even with a full trunk.
spacers are a preference. if you can fit a wheel without them, thats great. i DD, AutoX, and track my car and have never had any problems with bolts backing out or loosening on there own. however I do check the tq on them regularly just in case, but no problems so far both on the street and the track. the spacer does give it a nice aggressive look in the front. again, each person will tell you something different tho.
take this with a grain of salt, but IMHO if your going to get a wide wheel (9.5) then you need to get a wide tire. 245 is just too small if your looking for performance. if you want the hella flush look then your golden, or if you willing to do evodave fender mod of lots of work. ultimately up to you, its your car.
