Spring just in front question and spacer question

I have a 05 mr with the bilstein suspension and im thinking about lowering it well my rear already sits perfect with oem springs on it and i was wondering if anyone else has thought about just putting springs on the front only? If so what would be a good set to use just on the front to make it sit even or lower than the rear? Next question it with the mr bbs what kind of spacers would i need to get them to sit flush? im running 225/45s on them and when i lower it i would like for it to sit flusher than it is now. Thanks

225-45 are not even stock width. You are giving up traction. 235-45 or 245-45 or 255-40 work well on the stock rims.

Why would you unbalance the car by putting mismatched springs on the front ? That is crazy........ Also it sounds like the rear is sagging a bit..... stock springs have at least a 3 finger gap in the rear if the bilsteins are in good shape and the rear springs havent taken a set.

Just go for the full set of GTWorx springs or the Swift springs sport or Spec-r . They work great with the MR bilsteins and will improve the handling. Drop will look great on the Swifts, not as much drop on the GTWorx but still looks good. Ride is actually improved over the Stock MR springs.

Any of those options will set you back less than $300.

Spacers 10-15mm would work but you need to replace the wheel studs with longer ones for safety reasons. Be sure that the spacers have a hub centric ring to help center the wheels.

good luck !!

Ok i will look into the springs here shortly and the spacers where can i get the right studs from and also what would i need to do about lug nuts? I would like to find some red ones to match with the car. Thanks

I just lowered my car in the front and I love how it sits now (swifts red)....Im still contemplating if i should lower the rear? I know it will throw the balance of the car off but by how much, that i dont know. I just dont want that wheel well gap in the front be bigger than the one in the back......maybe my rear struts are bad?
