roll center kit...is it worth it?

i purchased a Whiteline roll center kit and a Whiteline rear bumpsteer kit, but i am really curious if I actually need them. I dont track my car. I dont auto x my car. i sometime do a little spirited driving, but thats about it. Car has megan coilovers(street), 27mm rear sway bar, energy suspension trailing arm bushings, and a Whiteline precision steering kit.

car is lowered but has about 2 fingers of tire gap right now, I will eventually lower it to top of tire.

pic of my car how it sits now...

thank you in advance for your input.

A little off topic, but any feedback from installing the whiteline precision steering kit compared to stock?

IMO, if you don't track or autox it, save the money and put it elsewhere.

Also interested. My kit is on order right now. I'm hoping it helps with the roll I deal with on the track. And I heard it helps the crappy turning circle.

the install looks pretty straight forward, press old ones out(with keeping in mind the indentation on the old ball joint) press the new one in

I don't track the car, don't auto x it. Like i said little spirited driving here and there on some back roads, but thats about it. I've already bought them, but not sure if i really need them. car right now has some bumpsteer, but it manageable. i could sell them and put the money elsewhere.

I'll buy the bumpsteer kit if you don't want it!

i have not installed that, was on the car when i bought it so i have no comparison with or with out the steering rack kit. although, when i owned vw's i have installed a similar kit and honestly didn't notice that much of a difference. there a ***** to install on a vw, so i can only assume there a ***** to install on an evo.

If you dont track it, then sell the kit and use the money elsewhere. Just be careful on the spirited driving.

IMO. These roll center kits are only for those that have performed all the necessary track day ready suspension mods & are looking for the extra edge

Roll Center kit is a small detail to look at after all the low hanging fruit has been taken care of and as has been said, its probably unnecessary for a car not tracked.

If you wanted improved handling there's a host of things you need change in your setup...but no reason to go there

Installed mine this last weekend. Roll center and bumpsteer. The bumpsteer is pretty whatever, I'd only recommend it if you tend to drive on a lot of unsmooth roads, but I very much like the new more linear handling in the front with the roll center kit. It doesn't seem to roll over onto the outside front anywhere near as badly as before. Seems a lot more planted, and I can literally feel my crappy BFG sports gripping the road better under cornering, so I can't wait to get my Star Specs on there and really get to hammering through some corners.
