Question Removing front control arms, suggestions?

Hey guys, I'm working on removing the front control arms (then the rear) on my '05.. the bolts that go in from the front-to-rear orientation are really in there, any suggestions on what's worked for you on these? Do the control arms have to be aligned any certain way?

I've got a torch, breaker bar, etc.. trying not to snap one off!

I just used a 1/2" 2.5' long breaker bar and they came right out. PB Blaster and an impact wrench should do the trick if that doesn't work.

They are a 1/2" bolt so you can put a lot of torque on them before they will break.

If they are the ones that go through the sub frame, and your Evo has seen the elements, I am willing to bet my *** they will not come out.

They are a **** to get out. I had to cut open my sub frame, and not wanted a hacked up sub frame on my car...I replaced it.

EDIT: Lots of threads on this topic.

That's what I was afraid of lol.. I have a 25" breaker bar and I can see the handle bending from the torque when trying to get them freed up lol...
