18 x 12 wheels?

I have searched but can not find if any one is running 12' or 13' wide wheels with a wide body kit. If you can fit 9.5' -10' wide under stock fenders how wide can you go with the more common wide body kits? Looking to see if corvette Z06 sized rubber can fit.

Maybe there's a reason you can't find anyone running 12"-wide wheels on an Evo. (And I'm here assuming you meant 12", not 12', but I'm not entirely sure that I should be making any assumptions, to be honest.)

I'll give one example reason: the scrub radius on this set up would be monstrous. The wheels would need to have a *negative* offset.

An AWD car with 12'' rims would be a mess... there is definitely a reason nobody is doing this.

Audi quattro

Sorry for the typo yes I meant 12". I understand scrub radius is a issue especially with a strut, just looking to see if there was any thing out there like the Audi quattro that ran in the IMSA series in the late 80's-90's and it dose seems like there should be room for it under the big fenders

It's too bad there isn't a section for discussion about suspension and wheels.

On 18x10.5 +15s, right? Not 12"-wide wheels.

Also probably hoosiers. I doubt street tires that wide would perform well on wheels that width.

^ I know that you would know that. Just adding to what you've posted so kids don't start buying 10.5" wheels and think it would be good to throw 315's on em.
