Here is mine with a neutral rake. The front looks like a monster truck but damn does it handle well like this. It measures 7.5" off the ground at each pinch weld near the jack points.

Monster truck? Looks fine. I think you are over thinking the rake bit. Its less important and used to fine tune the cars handling per driver wants.
Spring rates, corner balance, alignment, etc come first.
