Need help with offset and tire size

Im looking at picking up some wheels for my evo project, im looking at running an 18x8.5 and the rims are available in a +25 or +35 offset, which would be the best choice to run without spacers? also wold i be able to run a 245 or 255 tire on a 18.8.5 rim?

Did you check the Wheel/Tire fitment guide in the stickies above? That would be a good place to start, try posting there if you can't find what your looking for.

I searched it but couldnt find an answer really, i seen people running 18x8.5 in a +25 and +35 offset, but im just asking which one would be the best for no spacers and no modifications

The higher the offset the better chance you have of a proper fit. IMO, the post is lacking details such as what wheel ? & what tire?

Im on a 17 x 9 +29 running a 275/40 tire

Peace

To help yourself, read about offset. It depends completely on the size of the wheel. Also use a wheel offset calculator.

I'd go with the +25 for sure. The +35 won't look very aggressive. You can run a 245 or a 255, whatever you prefer.

Whats wheels are you looking at?
