lowering spring question

I don't know much about suspension, so i was wondering if it was possible with out affecting the handling or stability of the car if I could just change the front springs on the car and leave the rear stock springs in. The reason why I want to do this is because I have 18's and lowering the rear without rolling fenders is not going to happen and I don't want to risk screwing my paint up.

This is not a good idea if you care about handling or how your car drives in general.

Many people run lowering springs with 18s. How wide are your wheels and what is the offset? And tire size?

Work kai emotions 18x8 25mm offset 225 35 r18 or 235 35 r18 I can't remember. I'm dying to get a better stance. Front end looks like I'm launching all the time.
