I am in need of a front ABS sensor ...

I see the sensors being sold in the part out section as front and rear as well as L front, R front etc.... I need to know if I purchase a front sensor that it doesn't matter what side it goes on.

Also does anyone know of source other than mitsubishi? It seems they want a couple hundred bucks for one.

EDIT: Does anyone know if the EVO8 sensors are the same for the EVO9?

It appears that all four sensors have a specific part number and are side specific.

 

The actual 'sensor' is normally specific FR to RR sometimes the same all around, it depends on the bearing setup... but the reason why they would be from RH to LH is just the harness layout.
