BREMBOS?! plus evo tires...

guys i need your help.

my evo 5 hasn't brembo's on them feet, it's the RS so i guess the previous owner (since new) didn't quite see the point of the brembo's. NOw i met this guy selling 'em, quite expensive as you would agree with me...

so would it be worth it? should i spend more than i can afford for them? the stock 2 pot for the front and single for the rear seems to be fine enough though but would it be a biga deal with the brembos?

another thing, what 's the stock tires for the 17" OZ wheels of the EVO? Thanks a lot!

Hmmm Brembos are definately a big help in the stopping department. I guess if you cant wait for a cheaper price you could go for them, but if its too high i think you should wait.

Are you going to do anything with your car besides drive it around on the street? If not, then save your cash.

The RS models come with 15" wheels and regular lancer brakes unless ordered otherwise. Mitsubishi does that as most RS models are the bassis for privateer rally teams whom install their own brakes and wheels depending on regulations. I'd say try and find Brembos from a wrecked Evo6 or 7

i found some for about US$1500. and that's even from a wrecked evo 7 man... still quite expensive, i'd rather rebuild my internals with that kind of cash...
