FSB Question

I bought a used 26mm WL FSB recently and I noticed it didn't come with the straps to bolt it to the sub frame. Will by stock straps work?

Im pretty sure you will need to buy the mounts along with bushings that come with the Whiteline bar because the new sway bar is bigger thus it wont fit with the factory mounts.

Did you get the WL bushings? Just not the straps?

Your going to want the bushings for sure, because the stock ones will be too squishy for the higher loads this bar will bring. Give WL a call and tell them your a fan of their products but you got stiffed in a used sale and are in he middle of an install and need the bushings and brackets if they could help you out. They have been awesome with me, and the model of service I wish all the aftermarket companies would aspire to. Worst case, they charge you something. Or maybe not.

I called White Line and the guy said I did need the straps but he gave me the part number for the rear sway bar mount kit. Looking at a picture of the front sway bar on their site, there is no straps in the pic. Starting to think I dont need them.

If you have the bushings you don't need the bracket. You can use the stock one. On my H&R bar, it came with bushings but the stock metal brackets or straps were used to mount. So that is normal. That was why I asked about if you had the bushings. That's the important part. You don't want to use the stock rubbery soft bushing with the new bar.

Oh, and you should be able to confirm easily, because the new bushing should fit snugly inside the strap or bracket.
