brake loss

I read a post a while ago where the driver got back to the pits and his brake pedal went to the floor.
Would I be right in thinking his fluid boiled from heat soak? That a couple of miles of cruising up and down the pits would have kept this from happening.
From a lot of posts I have got the impression that the brakes over heat and are a cause for concern. So , cooling must be a big priority.

From those who have installed the Mitsu air guides, are you happy with them? I have not seen them or even looked where they would go. Are they big enough to work? OR would a person be better off fabing some aluminum sheet?

thanks
Bruce

I have done 2 track events with the stock pads. They will start to fade a little. Get some SS lines and project mu pads.
