mr bilsteins vs hd bilsteins

i have a 06 mr with the oem blisteins and my swift springs dont even have 5k on them but i feel like the struts r kinda tired after 43k miles. id like to get them rebuilt but dont have the option of having the car down so long to send them out. if i ordered the blistein hd struts will the ride height and ride quality be the same or similar or would i have to order new springs too.

It will be very similar. only real difference is a very minor change in the valving for the HD. Ride etc will be same. Now if your bilsteins have leaked some of the nitrogen then the car will ride higher with the new HD bilsteins.

I think someone said that the HDs are SLIGHTLY stiffer than the MRs, but not by anything significant.
